Hey man remember when you told me you can hear injectors ticking, what kind of ticking is it? I heard something like that while driving earlier I was at probably 2 grand, it was steady didnt really change with rpms, so I was wondering if that could maybe be it? Havent done anything to it yet too cold..

I wouldn't know about tests or what it takes to get into ROTC.
I am a one of those called a Mustang, who entered as enlisted and worked my way up throught the rates/ranks to LCDR.

Yea, I'll probably join the ROTC program. Are there any tests or anything that I should ask about before joining? My cousin said somthing about a test that allows you to skip some ranks or somthing?

I got a question for you relating to the military: I'm goin to college in the fall, so I decided I'd join the military to help pay for it. I was thinking along the lines of the Air Force (my uncle is in it and my cousin just joined). For financial aid, you have to do 4 mandatory service after. I decided that if I join the military, I might as well do the 20 for the pension, since my dad fell 6 years short in the navy due to medical discharge. I'm wondering if that 4 years mandatory is included in the 20 year pension time. I'll probably see a recruiter in April when I turn 18, so have any tips that I should ask?

Navy, have a question for you. LT1's aren't something I've worked on and to be honest, the opti worries me a little. One question I have is, I know the cam sensor is located in the opti and the shop that my cousin just took his car too said the reason the car is dying suddenly (no shuttering, sputtering), it just shuts down, is that two injectors are stuck open. I said it was bullcrap and the shop is trying to sell him all new injectors. If I remember right, the car will shut off completely if it loses the cam signal, correct? Since the LT1 has no sensor on the crank. Also I know the ICM could be failing but it's doing it while it's cold as well. Any advice?

Yes, the MMO seemed to have worked, but I'm going back to Rislone at the next oil change.

Dang. I've gotta really quiet one. I can hear it at idle (because I know what it sounds like), but I can't hear it on the road because of my exhaust. Did MMO finally make yours go away? I ran Rislone for 3 or 4 oil changes, and this past one I just put straight Mobil 1 5W30 in and didn't use an additive with it. I'm just a little skeptical of additives
