Hi beam low beam switch on top of the steering column under the dash. The switch that's activated by the turn signal lever.

About the only thing I can think of is a possibly bad Mass Air Flow sensor. ( MAF ) But it should throw a code I would think. Also the hard starting problem is most likely because the check valve...

I would take the ignition control module ( ICM )...

I would take the ignition control module ( ICM ) off, take it to a parts store and have it tested.
Have them test it more than once so it gets heated up.

Bad ignition control module ( ICM ) will cause that. You should be able to have it tested at an auto parts store.

I would suspect the electric ignition switch on top of the steering column under the dash.
They are known to fail like this and do what yours is doing.
Also possible the connector to the switch is...
