I bought a 3" in/outlet flowmaster super 40 series muffler for my avalanche ended up not using it, the pipe on my camaro is 2.25" if i bought pipe to make them fit how would the muffler sound on my car? its a 2000 v6 camaro :rock:

my exhaust is 3" full exhaust to flowmaster muffler and 2.5" outlets on the muffler and if i put 2.5" to 3" tips on or 2.5" to 2.5" is the sound going to be that different and if so which would be better? or louder? thanks!

I am a Flowmaster person. I am looking between the 40 or 80 series. Which one sounds better and performs better. I am looking at just the muffler right now or do you suggest the full cat back system? It is a stock LS1 in the bird but I miss the Flowmaster sound. Thanks
