I recently upgraded my headlights to United Pacific units (part 31514). Because I had already done the tail lights I needed to replace the flashers with the electronic versions. I did not realize there are two flashers. The one in the fuse panel is for the hazard lights. I could not figure out where the turn signal flasher was located. And I looked everywhere. Some guys said it was over the parking brake, and the parts guy at United Pacific said he “thought it might be by the glove box”. Nope. When I searched online I found all kinds of answers, most were wrong for my car. Finally, I found one from a guy with the same year Camaro as mine, a ‘67. He said to drop the steering column and move the gauges aside and wow! There was the flasher in a U shaped clip right up above the ash tray. I removed the old two pin flasher and installed a UP electronic flasher and all is well! Maybe this will help the next person.
