Ok so i've recently taken the motor completly out of my camaro rs v6 because of a spun rod bearing. Now that ive got everything reassebled i went to start it. Wouldnt happen, so after investigation the spark plugs are not throwing any type of spark everything worked fine when i took it apart so what could be causing this? Ive already double triple checked and made sure every plug is plugged in and im pretty sure i have all the grounds grounded

Anyone??

Are you getting signal from your crankshaft and camshaft position sensors? Use a multimeter or oscilloscope to check for signal.

Oh and I see this is your first post. Welcome to CZ.

Alright so testing the crank sensor is going to be insanly difficult because of where everything is so i'm just going to replace it. That being said I took one of the coil packs off to test if they were even getting power and they are so why the hell won't it fire?

Pull a plug and see if its covered in oil. Spark plugs can't fire if soaked in oil...

checked that already. I talked to a mechanic and he said that seeing as how everything worked fine before i took it apart then i have something wrong in the wiring and ive grounded something wrong, Does anybody have a diagram? its the 3800 v6
