As someone that has had both the L36 and LS1 there's no reason to dislike either of them. There's things I liked better about my V6 and there's things I like better about my V8.

Initial cost and insurance def. Insurance is a reason i swapped instead of bought a LS1 car. I have an easier time getting my spark plugs out now than wjem i had with my old L36. There is still more room than most cars in the engine bay that has a LS1 in it. I def have no problem working in there, plenty of room.

If you have just the supercharger you can make about 600 rwhp to the wheels. with supporting mods you can be close to 800 rwhp. For the V-6 thats pretty impressive

exactly what I was thinking, haha. I know of a local guy with a fwd type Regal with about 550whp on i think 18psi but its a turbo. but for how much money he dumped into that car I can spend a faction of it and get the same power.

:nonono: SS's arn't the best cars ever, they are up there, but not the best. the TA's rank higher, with the C6's higher than that. oh, and then there are the exotics above that.

Youve obviously not seen Some of the v6's I've seen on f-quick huh?

One made over 600whp. and theres several behind the scenes making over 3-400whp.

Best car ever, Thats strictly an opinion. I like them but I wouldnt call it the best ever..

That was a joke lol. In reality your talking 230-300 depending on a lot of factors. And I completely disagree with you on the best car ever. I have a V6 Firebird and a Z06 and I love both cars equally.
