Hi, found this site awhile ago and just made a account now :p
Was wondering what is your take on a LSX engine vs a LSA?

So the LSX is in a class all of its own?
From what I read the LSA is similar to the LS3 but is just a stronger version.
True, LS3 being a naturally aspirated 6.2L engine and the LSA also being a 6.2L engine, but is supercharged. And made stronger to handle the forced induction

So I take it your s/n refers to LSA the all weather lubricant for military weapons, not the engines, hahaha. Just messin. Your not a fiend quite yet. :)

Ercmann is absolutely right, its just a detuned version of the LS9, with different pistons and such and some other minor changes, which is the same motor give or take in the CTS-V, :)drool:).

I wouldn't mind having one, but I'm sure for the price you could do much more to your car.
